Cours d'anglais

Hello! My name is Armine Margaryan. I am the responsable of the English language section of the “SPFA” frenchspeaking club. At the moment I am a senior at “Imastaser Anania Shirakatsi” University,in Gyumri,in the English language Department. It’s my 2nd education, a few years ago I studied at the Musical College after A.Brutyan, and got a specialization of a pianist. My 2nd foreing language is German. Now I am learning French, because I love this language, and it’s important for the connections with foreigners.
Now I’d like to speak in a few words about our club.
It was founded in 1996. Our club consists of students and graduates from different Universities and Higher Institutions. All of us work in the club as volunteers. The active members of our club also go touring with Frenchmen and other foreigners through the whole Armenia:visit ancient churches, temples, historical places. Our Majors Samuel Sahakyan, Janik Manesyan, are very kind people. They give us books, tapes; help us in different questions and problems. We also have a connection with France. Our club has an English language section, as well as French, German, Russian languages sections, also a dance section, a song section. We also organize the watching of various films.
A lot of persons are interested in English, because it’s very important for connection with foreigners. During our lessons we learn many grammatical subjects, learn many proverbs, expressions and idiomatic phrases, because they are used in nowadays colloquial English. We also speak about different topics, for example we discuss’ The problem of global warming’, speak about the war in IRAC, tell our positions, etc. During our lessons we also watch English films, listen cassettes, etc.
I use different types of books, e.g Bonk, Eckersley, Bloch, Merfy...
I already work in ‘SPFA’ frenchspeaking club 2 years and I have many pupils, they are in different ages.
I think I have already expressed my thoughts and managed to give you a picture of our club and work. Hope you enjoyed it.

Sincerely Armine Margaryan.
